Randy Described Infernity

our heatwave has spent itself for the week, i think. it's finally cool out! i can't wait for it to get back down into the 80s. i'm spoiled by the weather here in the great evergreen state. back home in colorado you shrug of 95 like it's no big thing but out here it's sooooo hot by 90 you can just sit inside and feel hellishly hot the whole dang time.
went role-playing last night and it was like trying to have a good time in a furnace with the burners on. i thought i'd die before i did it again today but it did cool off.
come to find out i've done gone and forgotten a lot of my english composition skills since i've been without need of them for almost a year in an academic setting. oh well.
might as well make that all, y'all.

  • we have 100.4 at the moment. and we don't consider this a heatwave unless it reaches 104.

  • yeah. it's hot here once it's above 85. that's the benefit of living right on a spur of the ocean, it's always fairly temperate.
denver it's usual to get into the high 90s every day even despite being 4-5 degrees cooler due to the altitude than an identical climate at sea level. it's part of the semi-arid climate out there.
