myriad of the mundane

I wish God was dead.

the world is falling apart slowly and you can thank our good friend religion. this is what happens when your identity is completely tied to a rigid set of ideals! this is why temperance is a virtue! this is why wisdom is held by those who sit long and ponder. obviously our president is not nearly up to the task he's forced himself into. this world needs a leader not a decider. i can't describe to you how frustrated i am that our country has instigated and abetted war upon war. if they wanted us to get into one hell of a shit-storm they've succeeded past anyone's wildest dreams. it's hit the fan and we've got no plan for how to win. this is what happens when you let an ape play human for a day.

  • I don't think anyone is going to win anything anymore...afterall what is there to win? We can't win their hearts...thanks to you-know-who...we haven't a single thing to get from another country...I wish it could be respect...but that went out the window with the dishwater. There's no oil that we need in the middle east in my opinion...we do have alternatives that should be pursued. Those oil barrons should transfer over to the alternatives if they want to keep stealing our money. At least it would be cleaner all the way around.

  • yeah, they'll have to. the resistance to it shows a clear shortsightedness in those ceos.
and the fact that we're sitting here debating about the righteousness of all this should be heartening to others, i hope.
it's hard not to be deeply sadened by the state of the world, though.
