myriad of the mundane

yesterday rocked!
not only did i find an awesome pair of gore-tex lined, heavy weight ski gloves for $14 ( a discount of over $50) but i also found myself a free stove of the type i've been looking at buying. one of the guys i work with has one and doesn't like it. so i'm taking it off his hands. bloody awesome. AND i worked for 12.5 hours yesterday. that means it was very close to a $100 day for me. and i accomplished my goal to read into the Critique a bit further. so my life is good! right now.
how is yours? tell me. i am actually really interested to hear what great things have been happening to you. tis the fall weather that's doing it, i tell you.
i absolutely adore fall. fall and spring are the perfect seasons. everything bundling up for the cold and then everything layering back down after it. and the fact that it's crisp in the morning but warms up in the middle of the day is my favorite part. you wake up and you want it to be warmer then it gets warm and you want it to cool off and then it's night and it's cooling off. perfect. bloody perfect.
that is all.

  • Hey...you've a new name...and I have a new look...aren't we clever? Oh yeah...this time of year (here) is good because it isn't so damn hot anymore! Well...except for the occasional Santa Ana wind that is.

  • don't have to worry about that. i just get cold winds off of the water. and i just felt like a change for autumn. it's actually getting cool and dark up here already, too. lol. and we're still not having our 5pm sunsets yet. that's the part that's going to make me feel wierd. 8 hours of daylight and stuff like that just might make me go something something something.
