hey there all. as promised, i'm posting. posting with a belly full of pizza. doesn't get better than that.
so it's been a great few weeks with some smooth sailing. i found a very nice therm-a-rest mattress for 1/7 the usual price at work and got a nice backpacking sleeping bag for $75. the whole sleeping set-up cost less than $100 and weighs less than 5 pounds. a big bonus when you have to carry both pads and such on your back.
the backpacking trip went very well. lots of absolutely gorgeous country and some not so pretty shots. geezer, there's even a nice ass shot courtesy of my favorite gal.
i've found myself spending far too much money at work but i've still managed to put some away. i'm going to buy a moped pretty soon, i think, just so i can get around more easily. right now i feel like a child or something because i need to be driven everywhere. so i'll pick up some nice gear in the bicycling section and go balls out on my vespa! hardcore!!
i really can't think of anything else to put other than this one thing...i bought a $5 rubber doughnut to work on my forearm strength. i've decided it's time to take my knitting to the next level. or i want to boulder. but mostly it's about the knitting.
