myriad of the mundane

Cue that Funky Harpsichord Music, Joe.

i've decided i love chocolate a bit too much. now you say this is outrageous. i know. you're thinking, "dude, how can that even begin to be true for a bloke with such a beer belly? obviously it's not the chocolate you've been cravin' nightly." and you may be right that i've got a bit of a beer belly because i do love beer and do crave it almost nightly. like KFC. but this is something completely different.

i want chocolate more than sara.

i want it more than sara on her period.

i want it more than sara after hearing terrible news or when she's depressed or when she has a craving for chocolate. i want good, dark cocoa more than i want water most always. regardless of if i were in the desert with only a few sips left in my canteen there's not question in my mind:

"i'll take the chocolate, mr. wonka. oh, and make it shaken not oompah-loompahed...thank you."
that is all.

  • Uh...so I take it you will be waiting in line to go see Johhny Depp in the new Wonka movie...so you can look at all that chocolate eh? Sneaking in big bars of your favorite chocolate rather than pay the outrageous prices the theater will charge you...

  • oh yes, i will indeed, lol. i have always loved that book and the gene wilder movie. i hope that this one is as good. it seems like it will be quite amazingly awesome visually and otherwise. i love that tim burton refused to abuse CG and instead did as much real acting as possible. it's an art that needs to be there to pay proper homage to those that came before.

  • I love Tim Burton. I actually love everything he does...whenever he does it. I think he's a genius. Disney was jealous of his talent...hence they didn't get along and Tim moved on. He was just too good for the likes of them. He was better off on his own. jBeetlejusice is just so awesome it can't even be categorized.

  • yeah. i remember the part with the banister and the snakes because it scared the hell out of me as a little kid. i actually do love his work and i love that he still has principles.
