somethings in the news today!
Exhibits A and B will prove to be a cornerstone of my distrust for real politik from the right. and yes, read into that term usage.
A: It seems our illustrious Republican vanguard has been lying about more than WMDs. Like, perhaps, how strong they are on homeland security. and anyone else feel wierd talking about the fatherland (homeland?) I certainly do! It's america, it is my homeland but that shouldn't and doesn't determine my voting patterns. Keeping ourselves and everyone else in the world safe does. And, frankly, right now they need to be saved from us. Wanna know why I favor a defensive force only? So we can't get into this bullshit like Iraq easily.

B: Coming back to the politiks of weakness from the garbage dump of souls, where the hell does Jerry Falwell get off? The man clearly wants you to think because he's quite Reverand he's telling you the truth. The only thing to be said with veritude is that he's not telling you all of it but that's at best and at worst he's flat out sinning for political gain. Additionally, doesn't it seem like he's got some sloth or gluttony issues from that portrait? Maybe the devil really DID make him do it...
I'm guilty of being frustrated and snapping back in ways I shouldn't at people like this. I will own that. But I'm able to step back and realize my mistake, move on from it and discuss these things like a civilized human being. The good Reverand seems not to have figured out how to treat his neighbor as well as himself unless he's really into self-loathing and perhaps, like some other folks i know, some castigation.

before and after tank pictures coming tomorrow or the next day, latest. the gas tank is done save for one last coating, the clear topcoat. it's a gorgeous deep blue color that's a bit lighter than i was thinking of but is still very pleasing to me.
i got paid 940 dollars for my efforts at REI, catering and tully's. makes all those hours worth it.

so, evidently ABC is off to a Clinton-bashing, let's jump on the corporate welfare bandwagon start of the election cycle. See those ads for their 9-11 miniseries? yeah, they're basically just making shit up and putting it in there to make the Clinton administration responsible for the attacks.
stop with this slander- because it is slander, knowingly and maliciously- and allow for actual discourse on the subject. i would say that they should at least get the story right but further that it is just too damned early to be making movies about this.
Do You Think I've Forgotten?!?!? Do you really?!?! I can tell you where I was, I was in my a.p. U.S. history class with a certain Mr. Baker at D'Evelyn and then continued downstairs to my a.p. Biology class and continued to watch in horror as thousands of americans died. so don't you DARE try to make money off of their death while feeding me false "facts," ABC! There is nothing gentile or refined about this maneuver. it makes me sad, it makes me angry and most of all it just makes me sick that someone would try to profit off of 9-11 without even trying to get the story correct.
